Cake with apples, raisins and rum

A very tasty cake that is made quickly without much trouble. Apples and raisins soaked in rum create a heady mix of flavors and fragrances.

Cake with apples, raisins and rum

INGREDIENTS

100g raisins
75ml rum
125g spry
2 eggs
160 ml milk
250g self-rising flour
140g sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
150g green apples, peeled from the leaf and seeds, cut into small cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a small saucepan, add the raisins with rum. Next, put the pot on the fire and heat the mixture. Do not boil, just let it simply warm up to absorb raisins rum.

2. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees in the air.

3. In the food processor add the spry, eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, baking powder, salt and beat for one minute to unite. Add the apples, raisins and stir the mixture with a spoon. Transfer the mixture into the pan and place the cake in the oven for one hour. We check if our cake is cooked when you sink a knife in the center and it comes out clean.

4. Allow the cake to cool for fifteen minutes before you remove it from the pan. It can be served with vanilla ice cream or custard for a more beautiful and attractive presentation as a desserts.
